How the weighted pipeline value is calculated
Weighted value = possible revenue × probability of reaching first revenue from the current status or stage.
- Possible revenue is the revenue of year three, not the sum of three years, with a low, central and high estimate. An agent proposes it; a person confirms it.
- An idea without an estimate shows as “not estimated”. Values are never imputed.
- Once a status or stage has at least five cases with an outcome, the probability comes from your own history, shown with its sample size and interval.
- Until then, the reference probability of your incubator profile is used and labeled as an assumption.
- Projects that already earn revenue enter with their actual revenue, on a separate line.

A full report for each project
Each project can also have its own report, with its thesis and market, lifecycle, traction, scenarios and benchmarks.
- Scenarios: low, central and high over 36 months, with every assumption and its origin declared. Drawn as a dashed line and a band, never confused with actuals.
- Benchmarks: read from a reviewed reference file in which every value has a source and date. If no reference exists, the report says so.
- No projection is drawn until a person confirms the assumptions.
Traceable by design
- Each report is built on a frozen snapshot with its cut-off date and the portfolio version.
- The footer of every page shows the cut-off date, the version and the page number.
- An automatic reviewer holds a report back as a draft if figures do not reconcile, a section is empty without explanation, text overflows or an assumption is missing from the appendix.
- Text and figures come from rules on your data. Generating a report uses no AI and no credits.
