Free tools. Write it down before you decide.

Four small tools taken from the method FounderFold runs on. Each one settles a single question before you spend more: when to stop, what each gate must prove, which idea to test first and what the portfolio is worth. They work in your browser, keep nothing on our side and export to CSV, Markdown or PDF.

  1. Kill criteria generatorTurn each stop rule into a measurable sentence with a metric, a threshold, a deadline and who decides. The generator flags vague words such as “enough” or “good”, shows which stages still have no rule and gives you a list your committee can sign off before the stage starts.
  2. Stage-gate templateStart from a reference cycle for your type of business, rename the stages and set what each gate must prove. You get six stages, each with the question its gate answers, a pass criterion and a kill criterion, and you can add or remove stages until the cycle matches how your team decides.
  3. Idea scorecard with sourcesScore up to ten ideas on weighted criteria where every score carries its source and date, and see how much of the result is verified. Scores without a source still count but are marked NOT VERIFIED, and yes/no questions can discard an idea before scoring, with the reason kept.
  4. Portfolio value calculatorValue a portfolio of projects as year-three revenue × probability of reaching revenue, with a low–high range and the assumptions in plain sight. It shows the value by stage, warns when one project carries more than half of it and lists the projects past their gate date.
